Open During COVID-19

Bicycle repair and supply shops like Roseville Cyclery have been deemed essential businesses during COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders, and we are honored to be open to serve the community during this time. We take our responsibility for customer and employee safety very seriously during these challenging times. So we want to let you know what steps we’re taking to protect you, your family, and the community.

Roseville Cyclery Social Distancing Protocols

We are doing our best to adhere to the Physical Distancing Protocols adopted by Placer County as we do business, and we’re asking our customers to do the same.* Some examples include:

  • Avoid entering a facility if you have a cough or fever
  • Sneeze or cough into a cloth, tissue, or elbow if not available
  • Do not shake hands or engage in unnecessary physical contact
  • Consider wearing a face cover

How We’re Doing Business During COVID-19

Shelter-in-place orders plus beautiful Northern California weather means many of our customers and community members are interested in getting their bikes repaired or looking for new bicycles in order to get out and ride. We’re here to help you get the fresh air, exercise, family bonding time, and mental stimulation that cycling provides.

Store Hours and Safety Protocols

Our retail shop is open for business, no appointment necessary. In order to adhere to the Placer County Physical Distancing Protocols, we are currently allowing a limited number of customers into the store at a time.

If you arrive at our shop and we are already at maximum capacity, we will help you form a safe, social-distanced line at the door.

*Protocols may be subject to change.

Is Cycling Allowed During Shelter-in-Place Mandates?

Yes! According to the California Bicycle Coalition (CalBike), cycling for exercise and to travel to essential activities are permitted in every county in California under current versions of the stay home order.

To bike safely, ride alone, or only with people you’re quarantined with. Maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others you pass on the road. Avoid following closely behind other riders. Do not go on any organized group rides. Be sure to bike safely to avoid accidents that could lead to serious injuries.
